Wine Lovers Wreath

First and foremost, don't judge me on this one :) My bf and I are huge lovers of the adult grape juice and I have collected the corks for a while now. At the time I did not know what I was going to do with all of them until I came across this project online. I, of course, added my own touch to it and I have received so many compliments (along with a few "alky" comments) on this wreath!

Materials:

Corks

Drill

Bells (or large beads/balls that have openings on both ends)

Ribbon

Bow

First you have to drill a hole some where close to the ends of each cork, but not too close to the edge that it starts to break when you are drilling the hole. It's easier than it sounds, it just takes a little while to do so many of them!

Then take gardening wire (doesnt matter too much what color, since it wont be seen too much) and string a strand through the corks, alternating between cork and bells on one side and just corks on the other. Depending on how big of a wreath you want depends on how many corks and bells. I believe I did about 24 corks and it was a medium sized circle. Once you strung all your corks on both side, bring the ends together and form a circle. Twist the wire together to secure.

Add your decorative bow and there you go!

I'm still saving my corks in hopes to make another "Everyday" wreath with different spacer beads and a different bow. I wouldn't mind selling them if any one is interested! Let me know!
