Easy St. Patrick's Day Banner
Nothing makes me happier than quick and easy projects that look like I spent the entire day making. My St. Patrick's Day banner is one of those projects and can be created simply with scrap paper and extra string or yarn. Perfect for the crafter on a budget!
While my home decor lacks a whole lot of actual decor, I do have one space in the house that I like to decorate with each season; my wood wine racking hanging on the wall. And while we don't really have a "style" at the moment, I still tend to go for a more rustic feel with my decorations.
Supplies Needed:
Cardstock (Scraps are great)
String (I used twine)
Silhouette Cameo
Directions:
Step One - Setup Design and Cut
1. Open your design in Silhouette Studio
I used part of the banner design from a group of banners, but you could easily create this by hand
2. Add circles for the string
3. Duplicate your design for multiple cuts
4. Send to Silhouette
Step Two - String Banner
1. String banner pieces on string or yarn that is pre cut to fit your hanging space
Hang, Decorate, Enjoy!
I had a Christmas tissue paper banner that I used by taking off the red tassels and placed in the back of the wine rack. Also, stay tuned for my post on how to make the gold wine bottles for St. Patty's Day!
