Rustic Frame and Cross Gift

This post is really just to make me feel better for not being able to post ALL my great Christmas ideas! I have too many family members who would see these posts, so I can't post the rest until after Christmas. But I just had to share at least one of my handmade gifts with everyone!

My trip to Hobby Lobby during Christmas time was one that inspired me the most. I set out with one idea and walked out with a completely different one. In my up coming post I'll show you my gifts made with corks for most of my family, while these were made for my grandparents.

I fell in love with the frames as soon as I saw them. I could see them being used in so many different ways. I bought them for 50%, so for $10 each I couldn't resist! A few aisles down I found the crosses. At this point I called my mom and ran a couple ideas through her and she came up with putting a bible verse on the glass with vinyl! {Great Idea} Once I finally started working on all my gifts I ended up putting this great decorative paper behind the glass.

I used E6000 to glue the cross on the frame. It was the first time I used it and I made sure I opened a window before opening the tube. I got my share of warnings from everyone who has used it before.

Enjoy!
