Googley Guy, Oh My!

I giggle every time I see these little guys! They were such fun to make and each of them seemed to take on their own personalities depending on the smile that was made! :)

My boyfriend was the one who actually found them while searching online at some point earlier this year. As soon as he showed them to me I knew I had to recreate them for gifts! They are adorable little googley eyed tennis balls that get attached to your walls and hold whatever you feel like putting in their mouths! LOL. The original ones online were made with rivets for the eyes and a suction cup in the back. I decided on googley eyes because they are, well, Awesome. The suction cup didn't make sense to me since most people would probably put them in a garage or on some sort of rough wall. I ended up buying the removable hanging clips you can buy at Walgreens. I cut a small square in the back with an x-acto knife and carefully pushed the hook part into the tennis ball.

To properly display these little guys, I decided to use my Silhouette machine to cut out cupcake holder boxes, which fit the tennis balls perfectly! These are a great gift for anyone with a sense of humor!
